Bit About Tempa T

Tempa T, or Tempz as he is often known as, is a British Grime MC originating from Maryland In Stratford. Although Tempa T was born in London he is half Jamaican and half Ghanaian. He is well known for his 'Hype' bar style and is a current member of the Slee Dem Crew and has recently been working with well known grime group Boy Better Know (BBK).
He first appeared on the Grime scene when he lost to fellow grime artist Skepta in an MC battle final. Since then Tempa T has released some big grime tunes including: Battle Riddim, Karate Chop featuring Chronik and some more recent song including Chattin Shit and his big hit Next Hype.
In late 2010 Tempz collaborated with London electronic duo known as Chase and Status on a song based on Next Hype called Hypest Hype. Hypest Hype, which features on the album No More Idols, was released as an official single on the 8 October 2010 and was available as a free download on the Chase & Status website from 8 November, it was also added to the radio 1 playlist on the 3 November. He has also worked with the brother of Grime MC Skepta and Boy Better Know star JME on It's Not A Long Ting, and CD Is Dead, both on JME's album Blam.
Tempz announced on the Logan Sama show in January 2009 that his debut album 2000 & Paaks was completed and he was yet to decide upon a release date for it.
Tempa T has an ongoing feud with fellow Grime MC Griminal, over a long period of time both artists have been guilty of dissing each other in songs be it indirectly or directly. They recently clashed in public at the Eskimo Dance when Griminal was dissing Tempz who then proceeded to throw a bottle at Griminal whilst he was performing on stage. This sparked some controversy about their relationship, there is some footage if this on YouTube however it is poor quality.
